Primary Parents Dues and Services

Open season is August 28th - September 28th. Afterward, no new orders until December.

For cancellations send an email to primary.parents@jpds.org with "cancel and the program name" in the subject of the email.

2. When you're done adding items, use PayPal's secure pages to pay.

   Pay by credit card, debit card, bank transfer, or PayPal.

Programs included in Primary Parents dues:

Birthday Lunch
Birthday Lunch is offered to each half of the school one Wednesday a month in the Gottesman Auditorium. Pre-K, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades make up one group; Kindergarten, 2nd, 4th, and 6th grades comprise the other. Birthday Lunch provides students the opportunity to expand their acquaintances within the school and share birthday celebrations. Hot lunch includes pizza, a vegetable, salad, dessert and a drink with birthday celebrants receiving special cupcakes. **Please note that Hot Lunch is a dairy meal. A pareve/cheeseless pizza option is available. Please check the appropriate box if your child requires this option.**

Teacher Appreciation Programs
Throughout the year, Primary Parents represents the parent and student bodies in letting our beloved teachers and staff know how much we appreciate them. Among other things, we provide the teachers with lunches, gift cards and treats in conjunction with various chagim.

Birthday Books
Our extremely popular Birthday Books program is back! At the Kabbalat Shabbat closest to your child’s birthday or half-birthday, G’veret Re’em will present your child a book selected from a wish list prepared by your child’s teacher. The book, inscribed with your child’s name in the front cover, is then donated as a gift to the class in honor of his or her birthday. Parents and families are invited to attend and share in the service and presentation.

Wednesday Pizza Lunch in the Classroom
(Dairy or Pareve)

We will bring pizza to the classrooms every Wednesday for lunch (roughly 3x a month per child; the other Wednesday of the month is Birthday Lunch) so you don’t need to pack one. Just pizza will be provided; no dessert, no fruit, no drink.  We'll bring the entree, you do the rest.

**Please note that Classroom Pizza is a dairy meal. A pareve/cheeseless pizza option is available; please check the appropriate box if your child requires this option.**

Thursday Box Lunch (Dairy Only)

Box Lunch is available again on Thursdays this year. Last year’s entrée options included mac & cheese, spaghetti, and quesadillas along with a fruit and vegetable or side. Children eat Box Lunch in their rooms with their classmates.

**Box lunch is dairy, so if your child has a dairy allergy, please do not sign him or her up for this program as there is no pareve option.**
