Sixth Grade Documentary Film Premieres

One June 4, MILTON sixth graders showcased a documentary film they produced as part of their year-long study of leadership, collective memory, and institutional change. The project was part of MILTON’s inaugural Scholar’s Forum, an innovative anchor of the new Moses Family Middle School curriculum. Hebrew Students Get Creative – Enjoy our Students’ Presentations!

Students in the Elementary School are composing original texts in Hebrew, honing their expressive language skills through presentations, and sharing their creativity! Third grade students recently finished learning about the fall season, and wrote original stories about the season in Hebrew. They incorporated the information, vocabulary, and speech patterns that they learned over the past two months in their story lines. Pre-Kindergartners Represent Identity and Emotions through Self-Portraiture

Our Pre-Kindergarten class began their year with the overarching theme of trying to understand our identity. Israel 70th Birthday Celebration Begins with Recreation of U.N. Partition Vote

This week, MILTON kicked off our months-long celebration of Israel in honor of Medinat Israel’s 70th birthday. On November 29, we marked the 70th anniversary of the United Nations Partition Vote granting a Jewish State in part of the ancient land of Israel. JPDS-NC Presents: The Lion King

Kol Hakavod to all the cast and crew of the JPDS-NC production of The Lion King! JPDS-NC community members and the preschoolers at Washington Hebrew Congregation and the EDCJCC were treated to two dazzling performances. The Rokdim B’Yachad (Dancing Together) Dance-a-Thon

On Wednesday, nearly 250 students, parents, staff, alumni and friends came together for an evening of dancing at the 2017 Rokdim B’Yachad (Dancing Together) Dance-a-Thon. Together the JPDS-NC community raised over $3,100 for the Jewish Federation’s Israel Wildfire Emergency Fund.
