Charitable gifts provide tremendous personal satisfaction, direct engagement in the life of our school, as well as significant tax benefits to the donor. Cash/Checks
Checks should be made payable to JPDS-NC. For annual giving, outright gifts are preferable to pledges. Outright gifts reduce administrative costs and ensure that every dollar is channeled directly to our students and programs.

Matching Gifts
Hundreds of companies support education through matching-gift programs. Ask your
employer if they have a matching-gift program! If you own a business, gifts can be
made in the name of your business.
Charitable Bequests
Parents, grandparents, and friends are asked to consider including JPDS-NC in wills
or revocable trusts. This is a simple way to create a legacy and to make a difference
in our future. Please consider adding JPDS-NC to your will, and please let us know
when you do!
Planned Gifts
Information about other planned gifts, including charitable trusts, charitable
gift annuities, and insurance gifts is available through the Office of Institutional
Advancement.
Stock and Appreciated Securities
Gifts of stock and securities may also provide additional tax advantages to you while
greatly benefiting our school. When you give your appreciated securities to JPDS-NC
your tax deduction is based on the full fair-market value on the date of the gift, and you avoid capital gains on approved securities. JPDS-NC holds an account with Merrill Lynch, DTC # 5178. Please alert JPDS-NC before initiating a transfer.
Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)
